He is survived by: his wife Shirley Helwig (Crinnion); his children, Troy Helwig (Angie) of York and Heidi Krout (Douglass) of Dover; his grandchildren, Kiersten Cherry of Dover and Caden Krout; his great grandchildren, Kal and Zane Cherry; and his sister Virginia MacIntyre.
