He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Busey Shelley. He is survived by: his parent Amy Olive Shelley (McKinley); his spouse Opal Regina; his children, John II and Rebecca Anne; and his sister Berdella Zuse of Guilford. He is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.
