He was predeceased by: his parent Lloyd Tharp; and his wife Joan LaRue Dunkleberger. He is survived by: his parent Maude Tharp (Reeder); his significant other Gertrud Burns; his children, William L. Tharp of Elysburg, Benjamin Tharp (Bonnie) of Elysburg, Donna Clark of Millhiem and Bonnie Tharp of Reno; and his grandchildren, William F. Tharp of Shamokin, Leslie Warriner (Clark) of Millhiem, Jessica Clark of New York, NY, Aaron Clark of Danville, James Reinaker of Delaware, OH and Rebecca Reinaker of Jacksonville, FL.
