It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Benedict of Elysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benedict and Anna Benedict (Hillebush). He is survived by: his children, Sherry Anderson (Jason) of Elybsurg, Cathleen Buckley of New Castle, PA, Thomas Benedict II, Sara, Sierra, Chevey, Trinity, Sydnee and Slade; his siblings, Jim Benedict (Pat) of Brick, NJ, Robert Benedict (Jeanne) of Newport, NC, Catherine Mellon of Jersey and Margaret Leigh of Point Pleasant, NJ; and his cousin Alberta Stine.
