He was predeceased by: his parent Pauline Sr (Renner). He is survived by: his parent William F. Gittler Sr; his wife Elaine (Phillipine); his children, Catherine Fisher (Nicholas) and Robert P. Gittler Jr; and his siblings, William (Jane), John (Roberta), Nancy Krum (Glen) and Ann Auker (Frank). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
