He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Persing and Renee Persing (Frye); and his son Richard Fanklin Persing. He is survived by: his wife Marie Persing (Purcell); his children, Frank Persing, Tara Maurer (Rodney) and Brian Persing; his grandchildren, Rachel Maurer, Jillian Maurer and Adalee Persing; and his sisters, Dawn Ressigue (Larry) and Linda Phillips (George). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
