She was predeceased by: her husband Bim Ackerson (William); and her son Richard Green. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Carol Kauwell Jones, Rick Steele, Amy Steele, Jennifer Green, Corey Green, Ryan Green, Anthony Egitto and Alex Egitto.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Animal Resource Center, PO Box 439, Bloomsburg, PA 17815, where she adopted her loving companion, Wesley, who was by her side to the end.
