He was predeceased by: his parent Robert J.; and his brother Robert Jeffrey Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Lenora Moleski Jeffrey; his wife Dorothy Lloyd Jeffrey; his sons, John Jeffrey Jr. of Elysburg and Randy Jeffrey (Debbie) of Mount Carmel; his brother Donald Jeffrey (Kay) of Elysburg; and his grandchildren, Samantha Jeffrey of John, Shelby Jeffrey and Jake Jeffrey. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
