We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2021, at the age of 72, Joan Bubnis of Elysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Taylor, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ambrose and Ann Ambrose (Mando); and her parents-in-law, Peter and Elizabeth Bubnis (Zubey). She is survived by: her husband Peter Bubnis of Elysburg; her children, Jennifer Wolfe (Joshua) of Elysburg, Jason Bubnis (Alana) of New Cumberland and Jeffrey Bubnis (Alexandra) of West Chester; her granddaughters, Madelyne Glasgow, Lena Bubnis and Sophia Bubnis; her siblings, Joseph Ambrose (Nancy) of Scranton, Robert Ambrose, Michael Ambrose (Judy) of Taylor, Nancy Holovack of Taylor, Rose Mary Opiela of Scranton and Christina Delasandro of Taylor; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Boyle (Michael) of Boyertown, Patricia Bubnis of Danville, Mary Puza of Shamokin, Dolores Winterstein and Andra Dell (Douglas) of Altoona. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
