She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Carl and Mary Carl (Mowery); her husband William A. Gutekunst; and her brothers, Bruce Carl and John Carl.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Manney (Dave) of Elysburg, Greg Gutekunst (Vida) of Elysburg, Lisa Hill (Jeff) of Chesapeake, VA, Tina Campbell (Randall) of Catawissa, Todd Gutekunst (Charlene) of Elysburg and Jeff Gutekunst (Christine) of Moscow, PA.; her grandchildren, Nicole, David, Brian, Jill, Jayme, Ryan, Owen, Lucas, Jason, Jeremy, Alisha, Jenna and Katie; her brother Terry Carl (Mary); and her sisters-in-law, Althea Carl and Peg Carl. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Elysburg Fire Company, the Ralpho Township Library or the Elysburg United Methodist Church.
