He was predeceased by: his parent William J. Madara; his children, William Madara and Lois Walburn; and his siblings, Winifred Trythall, Martha Sarge, Ron Madara and David Madara.
He is survived by: his parent Carrie E. Madara (Wolfgang); his children, Allen Madara, Judy Madara of Elysburg, Blaine Madara, Kathy Madara of Elysburg, Rita Howerter, William Howerter of Klingerstown, Maureen Phillips and Wayne Phillips of Elysburg; and his grandchildren, William Templin, Jennifer Foust, Megan Madara, Katelyn Madara, Blaine Madara, Aubrey Hartnraft and Kelsey Kieffling.
