He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Barbara Olise Ahern; his parents, James J. Ahern, Sr. and Cecelia Kasmark Ahern; his sons, Brett J. Ahern and Brad A. Ahern; and his sister Susan Ahern (Maxine Ansbach) of Lewes.
