It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Weaver of Elverson, Pennsylvania, born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman O. Nolt and Lizzie Martin Nolt; her husband Raymond M. Weaver; and her great grandchild Winfred Campbell. She is survived by: her children, Lucille (David Burkholder) of Benton, IL, Wilmer (Sylvia Weaver), Leonard (Sarah Weaver) of Benton, IL and Vernon (Doris Weaver); and her siblings, Mary (late Rufus Martin) of Ephrata, Melvin (Jane Nolt) of Ephrata, Clarence (Kathryn Nolt) of Myerstown, Anna Mae (Paul Newswanger) of Gordonville and Bertha (Richard Hurst) of Ephrata. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 87 great grandchildren.
