With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Leipchack of Elton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leipchack and Bertha Leipchack (Burkholder); his daughter Cynthia Marsh; his daughter-in-law Pauline "Pinky" Leipchack; his sister Virginia Chapman; and his brother-in-law Robert Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Cruse); his son Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Adam, Blake and Bethany (Matthew Moore); his great grandchild Rowan; his siblings, Edie Coleman and Larry Leipchack (Bonnie); his nieces and nephews, Gail Statler, Bob Lapinsky, Rayna Jones and Larry Leipchack, Jr.; and his friends, Pat Sracic and J. R..
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Elton United Methodist Church or Windber Hospice in memory of John.
