It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Capicotto of Elrama, Pennsylvania, born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Irvin and Mary Smith (Shanonberger); and her husband Emil Capicotto. She is survived by: her children, Traci Szubra (late Frank) of Jefferson Hills, Ronald E. Capicotto of Elrama, Richard I. Capicotto (late Marcy) of California, PA and Randy L. Capicotto (Tammy) of Gillette, WY; and her siblings, Linda Smith Stiteller (Dave) of Belfair, WA and Thomas A. Smith (Carrie) of Finleyville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home (221 N 2nd Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Park (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236).
