It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice (Bittle) Lynn of Elmhurst, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rev. Gerald "Jerry" H. Major, Jr.; her parents, Joseph and Ruth Bittle, Sr. (Ferrier); her children, Gerald "Maj" Major III (Marilyn) of Elmhurst Twp and Sandy Esquirell (Dan) of Harleysville; her brothers, Joseph Bittle, Jr. (Fern) of Cressona and William Bittle (Janice) of Cherry Hill, NJ; her grandchildren, Gerald "Jay" Major IV (Brittany), Kyle Major (Brenna), Jennifer Major Cody (Elijah), Ryan Esquirell (Marybeth), Austin Esquirell (Autumn) and Lindsey Esquirell; and her great grandchildren, RaeLynn, Wesley Major, Ellie and Joel Esquirell. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
