He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fila and Sophia Fila (Ostrowski); and his siblings, James, Casmir Fila, Eleanor Fila and Delphine Tokash.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fila (Kusin); and his sister Betty McAndrew (Avoca). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
