He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Berger (Gladys); his parents, Walter Leo and Mary Berger (Morrissey); and his siblings, Vincent, Rita, Amelia and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Caroline (John Jushchyshyn), Edward J. (Judy Berger) and John L. (Deborah Berger); and his siblings, Lawrence Berger and Marie Groffie (Berger). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
