She was predeceased by: her spouse Algie W. Anderson; her parents, James Powell and Viola Powell; and her children, Donald Anderson and Ethel Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Horace Anderson, Maritiza "Tesa" Anderson (Lance), Drexall Anderson and Roy Anderson (Dawn); and her grandchildren, David, Nicole, Jonetta, Roy, Shernita, Terrell, Brittany and Darshaun. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
