He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Atkinson and Margaret Atkinson Sr. (Hinkle); his daughter Atkinson Defelice Cable; and his sister Darlene Atkinson Carcaise. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Atkinson (Carrozza); his son William L. Atkinson III (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Katie Atkinson (Roger French), Adam Defelice (Marjorie), Andrew Defelice (Farrah) and Jacob Atkinson (Emily); and his brothers, Ronald Atkinson (Debbie) and Thomas Atkinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
