With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas R. Syphrit of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howard Syphrit and Gladys McDanel; and his sons, Randy Syphrit and Mark Syphrit. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Syphrit (Hollinback); his children, Jeffrey Syphrit (Jacqueline), Richard Syphrit (Nicole) and Carrie Froce (Neil) of Ellwood City; his daughter-in-law Lori Syphrit of Ellwood City; his grandchildren, Jennifer Parks (Robert) of Ellwood City, Emily Wakley (Caleb) of Pittsburgh, Anthony Froce of Ellwood City, Josh Syphrit of Ellwood City, Blake Froce of Ellwood City, Caitlain Froce of Ellwood City, James Syphrit of Ellwood City and Hannah Froce of South Carolina; his great grandchildren, Eli, Zane Parks, Amelia, Jedidiah Wakley and Silas Fiello of Ellwood City; and his siblings, Ted Syphrit (Lois) of New Wilmington, Mary Lynn Boots (Theron) of Dover, DE, Phillis Ann Fortney (Dick) of Kingsport, TN and Nancy Veder of Grove City.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Tom's name to the North Sewickley Volunteer Fire Department 887 Mercer Rd, Beaver Falls, PA or Providence Baptist Church 201 Chapel Dr Ellwood City, PA.
