He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John Hines and Helen Hines (Smith); his former wife Sylvia Eleanor Wilson; his son John; and his siblings, Bill, Jim and Alyce.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hines (Susan) of Oroville, CA, Monica Oswald of Chico, CA, Tom Hines (Natt) of Ellwood City, PA, Amy Voss (Kraig) of Grand Island, NE and Carl Hines (Anny) of Salina, KS; his grandchildren, Zachary, Amber, Michaella, Jessica, Dream, Dri, Jack, Treyton and Noah; and his sisters, Ruth Manzi and Mary Johnson (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
