He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Simmons and Esther Simmons (Schramm); his son Kevin Simmons; his grandson Jeffrey Simmons; and his sisters, Phyllis Pander (Pander) and Margaret Cron (Toot).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Simmons (Joe Grzelka) of Ellwood City and Deborah Simmons of Ellwood City; his grandchildren, Jason Wright, Angela Smith, Joe Gradwell of Beaver, Elizabeth Santillo (Christopher) of Ellwood City, Josh Simmons of New Castle, Elijah Simmons of Ellwood City and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Ethan Simmons, Brooke, Maci Lee Santillo, Zaelynn Quel and Ava Quel; and his siblings, Robert Simmons of Clearwater and Nancy Dishler (Dave) of Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Richard's name to the Beaver County Humane Society.
