It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Forney of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Beverly Forney (Leech); and his parents, George Cowan and Marybelle Cowan (Large). He is survived by: his children, Scott Forney (Sharon Taranto) of Ellwood City and Robin Kania (Mark) of Baden; his grandchildren, Richard S. Forney of Texas, Lisa M. McGaughey (Guy) of Texas, Dale Lipan (Jennifer) of South Carolina and Dustin Braden (Christina) of Butler; and his sister Nancy Steffen of New Brighton. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
