He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jacobs and Yetta Jane Jacobs (Baker); his siblings, Edna Scheidemantle, Joseph "Keith", Paul, Wayne, Dennis and Jeffrey Jacobs; and his siblings-in-law, Doccia Jacobs and Gary Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jacobs (Polk); his children, Karen Jacobs of Ellwood City, Tracy (Kevin Hindman) of Butler County, Tony (Malinda Jacobs) of North Carolina and Larry (Tracy Jacobs, Jr.) of Ellwood City; his grandchildren, Brandy, Alex, Jonathan, Andrew, Maranda, Ivan, Jack and Rexx; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Isabella, Felina and Kori; and his siblings, Shelby Hall, Sonja Boots (Mark), Dave Jacobs (Joyce) of Ellwood City, Mark Jacobs (Anita) of Ellwood City and Jay Jacobs (Terri).
