She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Viola and Jovanika Viola (Dragutinovic); her husband Frank Pitelka; her brother Stevo Viola; her sister-in-law Dusica "Dewey" Viola; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Ferruchie Pitelka.
She is survived by: her children, Erika Russell of Slippery Rock and Frank M. Pitelka (Shari Flamino) of Ellwood City; her grandchildren, William Russell, Susan Daugherty (Richard), Ann Russell, Peggy White (Ben), Michael Russell (Rebecca) and Jennifer Shazer (Justin); her brother Ivan Viola; and her niece Vesna Carlson (Alan). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
