She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ednie and Catherine Rose Buggey Ednie; and her sisters, Mary Ruth Castor and Margaret "Peg" Malcolm. She is survived by: her children, Irene Castor of Ellwood City, Jeff and Cora Castor of Edgewood, WA; her grandchildren, Alicia Castor, Christopher Castor, Lorette Polyson, Justin Castor and Megan Zikeli; and her siblings, Roberta Zona of Cranberry Twp, Walter Ednie of Royerford, PA, Bernard Ednie of Mt. Dora, FL and Fred Ednie of Seatle, WA.. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory (97 Grim Ave, Ellwood City, PA 16117). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (415 4th St, Ellwood City, PA 16117).
