It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mathews of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, born in Summit, New Jersey, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lucile Beaver Webb and Reverend Merritt Hugh Webb; her significant other William H. Michlich; her husband Richard V. Mathews; her brother William Webb; her sister-in-law Virginia S Webb; and her nephew Michael Webb.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Lee Michlich (Sandra) of Scotrun, PA and Blake William Michlich (Sheree Hockenberry) of Ellwood City; her grandchildren, Kimberly A. Miller (Zackery) and Maksim J Michlich; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Miller and Larisa Michlich.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations made in Barbara's name to the Ellwood City Public Library located at 415 Lawrence Ave in Ellwood or the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church located at 291 Wurtemburg Rd in Ellwood City.
