He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Risko and Elizabeth Trynovich Risko; his wife Sophia Dukovich; and his sisters, Mary, Anne, Helen, Josephine, Agnes and Betty.

He is survived by: his children, Tracey Risko of Ellport, Judith Thom of Ellwood City, Cheryl Pratt (John) of Ellwood City, Larry Risko of New York City and Robert Risko of New York City; his granddaughter Cherie Pratt (Chris Callahan); and his sister Sophie.
