It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald E Rice of Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Ronald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Rice and Beatrice M. Rice (Weibley); and his significant other Anna M. Rice (Bricker). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Rosalie Lowe of Loysville, Linda Carbaugh of Loysville, Liz Shanafelter of Shermans Dale, Sherry Jumper of Shermans Dale and Tim Kiner of Newport; and his siblings, Nancy Naylor of Chambersburg, Betty Radle of Landisburg, Linda Simmons (Michael) of Etters and George Rice of Elliottsburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren; too-many-to-count great grandchildren.
