He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Eva Myers Blumenschein; and his son Roger L. Blumenschein. He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Alberta Carpenter Blumenschein; his son Michael Blumenschein (Ada) of Elliottsburg; his grandchildren, Bradley Blumenschein of North Carolina, Ryan Blumenschein of Landisburg, Nathan Blumenschein of Arlington, Alicia Beiler of Loysville and Joy Garland of Bellville; his brother Leonard Blumenschein, Sr of Elliottsburg; his cousin George Hoffman, Jr. of Elliottsburg; and his daughter-in-law Bonnie Blumenschein of Loysville.
