With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Jean Schoonover of Elkland, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kohler and Lillian Kohler (Frederick); her husband Roy Schoonover; her sons, David Duff and Artie Schoonover; her siblings, Annabell Slocum, Frances Causer, Alice Smith (II), Florence Stone (Sissy), Margaret Boom (Marnie) and Melvin Kohler (Sonny); and her close friends, Ruth and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her niece Alice; and her son Gordon Duff of Elkland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
