She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Mack Gerow and Ada B. Gerow Baumgarten; her siblings, Kathryn (Loveland), Richard, Leon and Eleanor (Croft); and her husband Robert E. Hazlett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Wood (Henry) and Paula Jefferson; her grandchildren, Brennan Wood (Milissa) and Tori Geer (Robert); her great grandchildren, Levi and Zoe; and her pet Layla. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
