Kathleen F. Gender Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen F. Gender of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. and Mary V. Gender (Sweeney); her brothers, William Gender (late Dorothy), James Gender (late Jeannine) and Charles Gender; her niece Cherie Petrino; and also, James T. Gender, Jr. and William D. Gender.

She is survived by: her husband Jatinder S. Mehta; her sister-in-law Janet (Charles); her nieces and nephews, Paul Gender (Linda), Lynn Hause (Eric), Charles Gender (Nada), Jeannine Hagan (Daniel) and Mary Jean Kneringer (Robert); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashleigh Cadwallader (Ryan), Erin Walker (Joseph), Kelly Hatcher (Daulton), Morgan Siepel (Matthew), Victoria Eliades (John), Teionna Hagan, Brianna Gender, Meghan Kneringer, Stephanie Hause, Jason Gender, Jordan Gender and Jazmine Kneringer. She is also survived by mentor not only to nurses but to aspiring nurses.
