She was predeceased by: her parents, Altimus Seneca and Rita Seneca (Amato). She is survived by: her husband Daniel Dempsey; her son Patrick (Rebecca); and her sister Laurel Seneca (Brenda LeClerc).
Due to the pandemic, funeral arrangements are private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara's name to the Chordoma Foundation or the Salvation Army.
