He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Sr. Henninger and Grace Henninger; his sister Jean Witmer; his brother-in-law John Witmer; and his brother Marlin Henninger Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Helen B. Henninger; his children, Tonya Henninger (Sarah Bork) of State College and Bryan Henninger (Rita Henninger) of State College; his grandchildren, Sadie Bork Henninger and Ayden Lynn Henninger; his sister Lois Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Miller of Millersburg and Janet Henninger of Berrysburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
