He was predeceased by: his parent Eugene Hechler; and his grandson Ryan Hechler. He is survived by: his parent Leona Hechler (Barge); his children, Diane Heim (Ronald), Harold Jr. "Butch" and Donna Witmer (Daniel); his sister June Marie Carvell of Millersburg; his grandchildren, Jana, Jason, Jonathan, Joshua, Andrew, Olivia, Xander, Brett, Daniel, John A., Brandy, Justin, Joseph, Timothy, Robert and Michael; and also, Elizabethville, Williamstown and Carsonville. He is also survived by 32 Great Grandchildren and 1Great Great Grandchild.
