She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Sr. Cessna and Margaret K. Kolva Cessna; her husband Robert R. Mattern Sr.; and her brothers, David and James Cessna.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Novinger (David), Barbara Klinger (David), Robert Mattern Jr. (Bridget) and David Mattern (Tammy); her grandsons, Bradley Mattern (Jessica), Justin Mattern (Shana), Loyalton and Robert Mattern III (Julie); her great grandchildren, Sidney, Emma and Inez; and her siblings, John Cessna Jr. (Dorothy), Margaret Arnold of Lykens and Sandra Heilman (Donald) of Lykens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
