We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 98, John D. Heile of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, born in Greenville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Heile and Margaret Heile (McGrath); and his siblings, George H. Heile and Martha Ferry. He is survived by: his wife MaryLee Harwood; and his children, Richard R. Heile, Linda L. Bunts (Irv) and James H. Heile (Patricia) of Mechanicsburg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John's. Sell Memorial Chapel. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sell Chapel at the Masonic Village (1 Masonic Dr, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village (1 Masonic Dr, Elizabethtown, PA 17022).
