She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Zukoske and Nova Zukoske; and her husband Randy Carpenter. She is survived by: her son Troy A. Gaugler; her granddaughter Ashley Shambach; her great grandchild Grayson Shambach; and her stepchildren, Jason and Amanda Carpenter.
