Edward L. Shoop Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L. Shoop of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Edward L. farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward L. is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Shoop and Ethel Shoop (Gingrich); and his granddaughter Emily Van Pelt. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Shoop of Elizabethtown and Janell; his spouse Douglas Tomlinson of Columbia; his grandson Jacob Van Pelt; and his brother Fred Shoop of Mount Joy.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buch Funeral Home (21 W Main St, Mount Joy, PA 17552).
