With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darryl Alan Zweizig of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his stepfather John Pieja; and his brother-in-law Wayne Mort. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth "Betty" Pieja (Haring); his wife Kim (Mort); his sons, Joshua Zweizig (Carolina Banks) and Elijah Zweizig (Stacy); his grandchildren, Cody Deyo, Kyle Deyo, Stephen Zweizig, Banyan Zweizig, Zooey Zweizig and Bright Zweizig; his great grandchildren, Sophie and Aubrey Deyo; his siblings, Brian Zweizig and Susan Amodei (Kurt Leinbach); his parents-in-law, Robert and Faye Mort; and his brother-in-law Robert Mort, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (260 E Main St, Middletown, PA 17057).
