He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale P. Searer, Sr. and Helen Searer (Johnston). He is survived by: his children, Josi Chalk (Brian) and Jody Searer (Melinda); and his siblings, Marlin "Gene" Searer and Robin Baily (Michael). He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
