He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Snyder and Ethel Snyder (McWhirter); his wife Barbara Snyder (Beattie); his sons, William A. "Chip" Snyder Jr., Harry R. Snyder and Kurt Christopher; his grandson Michael Snyder; his daughters-in-law, Kimmy Haugh and Bobbi Snyder; and his sister Alice Cherepko.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon L. Ferency (Michael Marmo) of Elizabeth Twp; his grandchildren, DJ Ferency (Desiree) of Monroeville, Luke Megela (Natalie) of Elizabeth, Adam Snyder (Jodi) of West Newton, William Snyder (Sarah) of Pittsburgh, Katie Mendoza (Guillermo) of Arlington, TX and Matthew Snyder of Summerville, SC; his great grandchildren, Kali, Evelyn Megela, Jackson, Grace, William, Emma Snyder, Roxy Reyes, Liam and Lilliana Mendoza; and his sister Patsy Opfer of Apollo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home (221 N 2nd Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
