He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer R. Brown and Marjorie Brown (Thompson); his wife Vera Brown (Meyers); and his brother Robert Brown. He is survived by: his children, Richard W. Brown (Laurie) of Brookeville, MD, James R. Brown (Mary Kaye) of Princeton, NJ, Cheryl I. Kilburn (Douglas) of White Oak and Sandra E. Poremba (James) of Elizabeth Township; his grandchildren, Amy, Jennifer, Doug Jr., Mike, Greg, Rick, Caitlin, Ryan and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Karlee, Emmalynn, Easton, Braeden, Logan, Douglas III and Camden; and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Brown and Walter Meyers of Elizabeth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
