He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Godfrey and Frances Godfrey (Lockovic); his wife Ruth Ann Godfrey (Hill); his brother Francis Godfrey; and his former wife Janet Godfrey (Miller).
He is survived by: his children, Billie Jo Kettering (Robert) of Elizabeth Borough, Jeffrey Godfrey (Donna) of Palm Coast, FL and Kelly Godfrey (Greg) of Elizabeth Twp; and his grandchildren, Amy Kettering Brawdy, Todd Kettering, Jeffrey Godfrey, Amber Godfrey, Hunter Humenik and Lucas Schmondiuk. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
