He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bogdan and Anna Bogdan (Kotvas); his wife Agnes Eve Bogdan (Salopek); his daughter Diane Kurta; and his brother Eugene Bogdan.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Andrew Kurta of Elizabeth Twp; his grandson Adam Kurta of Elizabeth Twp; his sister Shirley Andreyko (Michel) of North Huntingdon; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Bogdan of North Huntingdon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
