It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Elizabeth Piper (Elizabeth, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan McCurry and Sarah McCurry (Doyle); her husband William "Bill" Francis Piper; and her siblings, Duane "Sonny", Regis, William, Bernard McCurry, LaVerne O'Donnelle and Romaine Riggs.
She is survived by: her children, William B. Piper (Betsy), Barry Piper (Cathy) of Elizabeth Township, Lynn Jones (Kenneth) of Elizabeth Township, Susan Boucher (William) and Kathy Shaner (Arnold) of Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Shawn, Eric, Amanda, Ian, Megan, Melissa, Kenny, Chris, Laura, Luke, William, Hannah, Quinton and Allison; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Caleb, Isabella, Olivia, Ella, Clara, Owen, Celia, Kennedy, Daniel and Tobias. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
