He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Davis; his brothers, Bernard G. Joos and John "Jack" P. Joos (Mary Jane Goggin); and his parents, George Joos and Sarah Joos (Grieser).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Eyerman); and his children, Gregory (Patricia), Mary Beth, Jack (Linda), Kathryn Tomkowski (Thomas), Thomas III (Shawna), Benjamin (Meredith), John, Jr. (Emily), Jarrod (Rayanda), Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca Joos, Lucy, Abby and Gabe Tomkowski. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends, including 10 godchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest Seraphic Masses be offered through St. Augustine Friary, 221 36th St., Pgh, PA 15201.
