He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred E. Hurst and Virginia Hurst (Fichtner); and his brother James Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Renee Hurst (Stewart); his son Jason Hurst (Heidi) of West Newton; his stepsons, Chad Stewart (Karen) of Finleyville and Kyle Stewart (Otilia) of Monessen; his grandchildren, Autumn, Grayden, Genevieve, Jaxson, Jeremy and Arianah; his sisters, Lois Trow (late Robert) of New Alexandria and Janet Styche (late Thomas) of Weedville; and his niece Amy Styche. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
